In recent years, the main feature of the development of China’s bank industry is"chang". Firstly, It comes from the change of the business environment, such as thefurther development of interest rateliberalization and financial disintermediation, therapid expansion of Internet Finance represented by YueBao; Secondly, It comes fromthe commercial banks’ self-reform, which is mainly reflected in the multi-divisionalstructure reform, such as Minsheng Bank, Industrial Bank, Guangdong DevelopmentBank and Bank of Communications Division has carried out or have been proposedreformal plan of the multi-divisional structure. However, the multi-divisional structurereform of China’s commercial banks stay at the "trial and error" stage, which needsguidance in theory and practice very badly. In2007, Minsheng Bank took the lead inreforming organizationstructure.Minsheng Bank’s multi-divisional structure has beeneffectively running for six years, its achievements areobvious to all.Based on this, this thesis took the Minsheng Bankas a case study whichattemptedto analyze the main problems exist inMinsheng Bank’ multi-divisionalat thisstage, then proposed the corresponding countermeasure, finallysummarized Minshengbank’s enlightenments to other commercial Banks in China. Throughoutthe collectedinformation, we found that Minsheng Bank’s reform has the following problems,suchas the interest conflictbetween the branches and divisions, theimperfect of thecomprehensive risk management system, the imperfect of the performancemanagement system. This thesis presentedthe corresponding solution for eachproblem. At last, this thesis summarized enlightenments from the Minsheng Bank’smulti-divisionalreform, which considered that the multi-divisional is the direction ofChina’s commercial banks organizational structure reform, the reform should bedirected by a clear division of development strategies and accurate market positioningand the key point of the reform is the interests redistribution, etc.
