The Changes Of The Export Technical Content Of China’s Manufacturing Industry And Analysis On Its Influence Factors

Since the reform and opening up, the export of Manufacturing has made great contributionfor the Economic and social development in china and the world, however China’smanufacturing industry has long formed a "low-tech","low value-added" image. How does thetechnology content in export change?Is the change the same in all industries?What are thefactors of influencing the technology content? These questions are worthy of study.The article reviews the techonlogy content export measuring theory and analyzes thecalculating methods, Combining this with the Total factor productivity theory,we research theChanges in technology content, changes in Technical progress and changes in technicalefficiency via Nonparametric Malmquist Index network packet analysis,and Further more weAnalyze the factors that affecting the techonlogy content export of Manufacturing.The resultshows that (1)the expotr of technology content, Technical progress and technical efficiency inManufacturing have been improved in1999-2011,but they are different in different years.(2)According to industry type,the technical content of capital-intensive industries is the fastestgrowing industry,the technical progress improvement of labor-intensive industries is the best,thetechnical efficiency improvement of capital-intensive and labor-intensive industries is muchbetterthan technology-intensive industries.(3)Fdi,Import,Capital labor ratio,Scientific researchfunds,Number of researchers all exert influence on the technology content change of exportproducts,but for different types of industries,the effects are different in different industries.
