Nowadays, the significantcharacteristics of the global economic and social development is informatization..Thefootsteps of global information have had a profound impact in the world, reflected inthe economic, political, cultural, social and military pattern and so on. Developedcountries are changing to information society by the earlier information construction.And due to the later information construction, developing countries face newopportunities and new challenge.The construction industry, as Major industry of supporting national economy, itsinformation construction is the main composition of national economy and socialinformation construction. One subsidiary of China state construction engineeringcorporation is a key enterprises in the engineering construction industry which oneinformation construction and management problems is a typical case study ofinformation construction of the large state owned enterprise. This paper analysispresent situation and the existing problems of construction enterprise, then discussgeneral situation, present situation and existing problems of the subsidiary enterprise.Using related theory of informatization planning, the information construction of theenterprise is planned. At last, assess the risks and analysis the benefits of informationconstruction.The main contribution of this paper is study the case of subsidiary of China stateconstruction engineering corporation, one of state-owned big enterprises. Theconclusion can not only promote engineering construction enterprises in constructionindustry make full use of information technology in order to improve its technicallevel and production organization form, but improve various ability, corecompetitiveness of enterprises and industry upgrading. Other enterprises within thisindustry also can earn a good reference example and value.
