Study Of Urban Management System In Dong Li District Of Tianjin

A complete and effective urban management system can optimize allocation ofcity resources, expand urban function space, lower overall urban operating costs,improve efficiency and utilization of resources, and thus enable long term sustainablegrowth. As the urbanization in Dong Li continues to move forward, it is apparent thatthe quality of urban management system is no up to the standard given the rapiddevelopment of urbanization. It is imperative for Dong Li to develop a highlyeffective and efficient urban management system that integrates the managementsystem of communities, streets and local areas as well as various management andenforcement functional departments.This article has total of five chapters. First, it introduces the key importance ofurban management system to the entire social development. Next, it discusses bothdomestic and international experience on urban management system development.Third, the article reviews the urbanization level from nation, city and district leveland compares with cities located in other countries and analyzes the current issuesthat Dong Li district has in its urban management system. Fourth, based on thecomparisons with other countries and cities, we summarize the areas that need to beimproved in Dong Li’s urban management system. Finally, from the perspective ofdesigning an overall effective urban management system, the article proposes a twolevel integrated systems of communities and streets and different enforcementfunctional department to property allocate city resources.Considering that the urban management covers a wide scope from a variety ofdifferent professional areas, this article only covers urban appearance and city basicservices. As the management system and regulatory environment steadily improves inDong Li, the overall urban management system will continue to develop. Finally, amature and effective urban management can not only help with socioeconomicgrowth, but also create an ideal environment for the citizes to live and work in.
