Study On The Influencing Factors Of Setting Waste Electronic Products Community Recycling Points

With the development of social economy and the improvement of residents’ livingstandards, the demand for electronic products is increased year by year and a large number ofwaste electronic products are also produced at the same time. Waste electronic products are"misplaced resources", which have dual attributes: environmental hazards and resourceregeneration. The reasonable recycling of waste electronic products can not only reduceenvironmental pollution, but also can get considerable economic benefits. Therefore, manycities in our country have constructed waste electronic products recycling system. The wasteelectronic products recycling points is considered as the front part of the recycling system,which has already formed to a certain scale. But the actual effect of recycling is not optimistic.The layout of many recycling points is unreasonable. The investigation and analysis beforesetting up recycling points is not sufficient. And the management of the established recyclingpoints is not standard. We can find it difficult to recycling waste electronic products.Therefore, this paper selects the community recycling points as the research object, and aimsto explore the influencing factors of setting waste electronic products recycling communitypoints.This research is based on the theory of setting commercial points, combining withknowledge of the waste recycling network system of electronic products, considering thediscussion about the network settings influencing factors of domestic and foreign scholars,sorting out the factors that may affect the layout of community recycling points. And then tryto construct the conceptual model of waste electronic products community recycling pointsthrough the predictive questionnaire reliability validity detection to delete variableinappropriate influencing factors. Next, after the investigation of52waste electronic productsrecycling points in Nanchang City, the basic data of this study is produced. Then theconclusion is drawn on the descriptive statistical analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysisand multiple regression analysis of the data. Finally, the corresponding suggestion is putforward according to the layout problems of waste electronic products community recyclingpoints in Nanchang City.5factors which including15variables are chosen in this paper to investigate and analyze.They are community factors (community size, community occupancy, community maturityand community population density); economic factors (competition situation, rental costs andcommunity level of consumption); traffic factors (distance to street, road liquidity);environmental factors (residents’ positivity, residents’ recycling cognition, governments’publicity); recovery points’ own factors (recycling prices, quality of the service and recoverypoints’ scale). Through the analysis of these factors, the waste electronic products communityrecycling points’ degree is set in turn: environmental factor> recovery factor> communityfactor> economic factor> traffic factor. What’s more, residents’ occupancy, residents’ positivity and the quality of services have the greatest impact on setting the communityrecycling points of waste electronic products. While the community size, population density,competition situation, the level of consumption, distance to street, the road liquidity andgovernments’ publicity have a certain influence, and the community maturity, rental costs,recycling prices and recovery points’ scale did not pass the test of significance.
