The Research On Digital Processing Model Of Historical Literature About Guangdong Customs Based On Crowdsourcing Theory

Historical documents record the culture and heritage of a country’s development,systematically reflects the civilization of ancient society achievements. It recorded all aspectsof social development in different historical periods. It’s the traditional material reflects ourhistory and culture. Guangdong Customs file in Guangdong archive is a reflection of thevarious developments of the country’s political, economic, social in the Qing Dynasty, whichis worth to exploring. Although the history of literature review has collated from the originalpaper documents to information technology as the core of digital finishing, to a certain extentto solve the literature dissemination backward, low efficiency, lack of knowledge mining andother issues. But digitization is still facing a large number of documents, time-consuming andhigh cost, the introduction of innovative approach is imminent. Crowdsourcing is a newInternet mode of production, can be understood as enterprises and organizations to outsourcework done by designated person or organization over some non-specific network to themasses practices or patterns. It can be applied to heavy and complicated task.Based on this, this paper aims to the historical literature of the late Qing Dynasty aboutGuangdong customs in Guangdong Province archive. Using WBS, system construction andother methods, putting the crowdsourcing model into the traditional digital processing work,using the online communities to resolve the difficulties in literature digitization processing, inorder to dig literature value efficiently and low-cost.This paper analyzes crowdsourcing theory first, on the basis of understanding thecrowdsourcing theory, through the analysis of difficulties about Guangdong customs historicalliterature, clearing the necessity and feasibility about the crowdsourcing application. Secondly,decomposing the digital processing work of historical documents about Guangdong Customsbased on WBS method, designing crowdsourcing model from the framework, processes, andorganization aspects facing to the digital processing of historical literature about GuangdongCustoms. At the same time, building the appropriate user incentive and quality controlmeasures. Furthermore, trying to build the system prototype based on crowdsourcing modeldesign, designing system module and the specific function, supporting the crowdsourcingmodel. Finally, based on historical documents bulk sample data about Guangdong Customs, conducting a crowdsourcing pilot to achieve effect evaluation and give recommendations.In this paper, the design for crowdsourcing model aiming at mass Guangdong Customshistorical document digital processing, through a pilot verification, with good effect, caneffectively solve the time-consuming, high cost problems in digital processing, and on thepremise of quality assurance, realizing the value mining, can be large-scale implementation.
