With the acceleration of the pace of world economic integration, the competitionamong enterprises becomes increasingly fierce. This competition is not only thecompetition of products, quality, price, technology and other unilateral aspects, butalso the all-round competition. If enterprises want to obtain the full range ofcompetitive advantages, they must have the appropriate personnel backing, so thecompetition among enterprises is ultimately the talent competition, then only thoseenterprises who have talent can be more competitive in the market. According to this,it is necessary to establish a set of scientific and effective salary management systemfor enterprises to attract talent, retain talent in the fierce competition in the market.But due to historical reasons, the salary management system of joint-stock enterprises,which are changed from state-owned enterprises, has many problems. And this hascaused many other problems, for instance, brain drain, low work enthusiasm andefficiency, weak competitiveness and sustainable development and so on. In this paper,I take AS company as an example to analyze and research the current situation ofsalary management firstly, find out the problems and reasons. And then set up a newsalary management system with market competitiveness which is based on job skillspay system and supplemented by broadband salary through drawing on previousresearch results and the author’s own practical experience. The new salarymanagement system is designed to shift the traditional concept of the employees inrestructuring enterprises, and enable enterprises to establish the salary system whichcan better accord with the market mechanism, this will help enterprises enhance theirvitality.
