With the development of global economic integration, the deep processing ofindustrial structure and the rising of living standard, the market competition turnsmore fierce,product and mode of production with strong time constraints becomemore general. With this new trend of economic development to adapt, airtransport-this rapid mode of transportation is more and more important. Airports ineconomically developed countries, especially some large hub airports, are no longersimple infrastructure which just provide air traffic security for regional development.They have transferred to a role as the important driving element to promote regionalsocial and economic development. There are perfect, composite traffic developmentcorridor around the hub airport, they go depth to the hinterland area, not only drive theairport industry cluster of adjacent areas, but also greatly promote the development ofregional economy and regional industrial structure, making the regional space morereasonable.Although previous studies of hub airport involve the research of space andindustry, they’re far more comprehensive. Most of the past research on space focus onthe area within30km surrounding zone of the hub airport,for example the concept ofairport economic zone, aviation city, which is just micro area of the hub airportradiation effects. There is not much research on the space impact of hinterland hubairport area. In the research of industry, existing research just described from the idealangle that hub airport interact with regional economic through the effect of airporteconomy, ignoring that every interrelated city wants to carve the bonus.The capital second airport is on construction, and it will play a very importantrole in the social and economic development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region onthe upgrading of industrial structure, infrastructure construction and employment andother aspects. Beijing, Tianjin, Langfang are try their best to absorb the informationand capital flows of the airport’s huge passenger to promote the development of localeconomy.As a result, Daxing planned a New aircity of Daxing and Langfang prepareto construct an aviation city. The same airport economic zone planning will causeenormous waste of land resources, additionally, the homogeneity of industry willlikely lead to vicious competition and the lack of momentum.This article will study the whole effect of hub airport on regional transportation,industry and space from the basic theory of the relationship among hub airport, airporteconomy and regional economy. I’ll select an urban space which lay out of traditionalairport peripheral economic spheres as the research object, trying to discuss producedall kinds of potential impact of the hub airport construction. From this part we mayjudge the whole impact of the regional hub airport.
