Research On The Temporal And Spatial Evolution Of Regional Logistics Layout In Hebei Province

With the rapid development of economic globalization and information sharing, thedevelopment level of the logistics industry gradually becomes an important symbol ofcomprehensive competitiveness which can measure a country or a region. But because ofthe influence of the geographical location, transportation conditions, logisticsinfrastructure, social and economic development level and so on, there is a big differenceabout the development of the logistics industry in different parts in our country. There aredifferences about the development level of logistics even in the same area. In order tonarrow the difference and make regional logistics industry develop balanced, we need tostudy the existing development characteristics of regional logistics industry from manyaspects and analyze the characteristics of regional logistics layout. Thus we can arrangethe reasonable layout of the regional logistics.The research object in the paper is11cities in Hebei Province. Under the guidance ofrelevant theories we study the paper with principal component analysis, exploratoryspatial data analysis and other methods.First of all, the paper describes the research’s background and significance and hacklesthe related research status at home and abroad. It briefly introduces the research methodsand the related research contents. We define the concepts and the theories involved in thepaper which provide a theoretical basis and guidance for the full text.Secondly, I describe the current situation of the development of the logistics industryin Hebei Province. The development of the logistics industry has both advantages anddisadvantages. I select the corresponding indexes by principal component analysis toanalyze regional logistics layout of Hebei province. I find that the development of regionallogistics in Hebei Province can be divided into four levels.Thirdly, we use the method of traditional index combining with exploratory spatialdata analysis technology to study the data of11cities in Hebei Province from1994to2012. We draw the temporal and spatial layout evolution characteristics of regionallogistics in our province. Finally, we analyze the causes of regional logistics layout in Hebei Province. I findthat the regional logistics layout is affected by regional economic background, trafficconditions, the policy environment, the spatial neighbor effect, industrial structure andother factors. These help us to put forward some countermeasures and suggestions for thedevelopment of logistics industry in Hebei Province. So we can make the layout ofregional logistics reasonable.
