The Coordinated Develepment Study Of Hebei Middle South Area Of Regional Tourism Based On Data Envelopment Analysis

With the development of economy and the improvement of people’s living standard,tourism known as a sunrise industryhas been rapidly developing,andgradually becomingthe pillar industry in the economic development of all countries. With economicglobalization and the coordinating development of regional economy, regional tourismcoordinating development, as an important part of coordinating development of regionaleconomy, is becoming a tourism trend in all countries. Tourismcompetition has graduallydeveloped into today’s regional competition phase from the initial scenic spotand urbancompetition. The Hebei mid-south area is the key area at the junction of four provincesinmid China, and has been listed as a key development area by the country. Varioustourism resources and richly endowed natural geographical advantage laid solidfoundation for tourism coordinating development. Using data development analysis modeland coordination degree model,this paper sets up a comprehensive evaluation ofcoordination degree and efficiency of tourismdevelopment. Thus, designing tourismcoordinate development of Hebei mid-south area and providing recommendations. It cangive reference to the development of this region.First of all, this paper analyzed the background, significance, a review of relevantissue at home and abroad, contents and methods of the research, and elaborate relevantconcepts and basic theories in orderto provide theoretical basis and methods for latterresearch.Secondly, based on the overview of the general situation of Hebei mid-south cities,the amount of tourists and social development etc., we analyzed the current situation oftourism customer source market, tourism resources status and tourist reception capacity.This section mainly aims at qualitative analyzing the current development situation of thisregion.Thirdly, this paper quantitatively analyzed the tourism efficiency and regionalcoordination degree of each city in this area, using DEA method and coordination degreemodel to analyze coordination degree model which evaluates systematic coordination degree and the result of tourism efficiency together. Results reveal that Hebei mid-southarea’s tourism coordination degree stays at middle level, and has a huge space for futuredevelopment.Finally, this paper presented optimized countermeasures combining the factors whichinfluence tourism efficiency and tourism coordinating development, and the degree ofregional tourism coordinating development. Specifically including strengtheninggovernment oriented management on regional tourism, optimizing market structure ofregional tourism and consummating regional coordinating system to regulate regionaltourism of Hebei mid-south area, to improve better coordinating development in this area.
