In the last twenty years, China’s economic output has quadrupled and its energy consumption has doubled. China has thus become the second-largest energy producer and consumer among all the economies of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation region and the world, surpassed only by the United States. Yet while China consumes a tenth of the world’s total energy, its energy consumption per capita is only about half the world average, a third of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation average, a fifth of Japan’s, and just one-eleventh as high as in the United States. Consequently, it stands to reason that as China’s growth continues and China’s level of energy consumption per person approaches levels elsewhere in Asia Pacific Economies Cooperation, the incremental effect on world energy markets will be substantial. In this paper, I will mention about electricity as one of energy resource and China’s electricity industry briefly and SMART GRID which the most advanced green technology.A specific objection of this paper is to know basic structure of china’s electricity industry basic structure and SMART GRID. As we know, recently, many developed countries and developing countries argued about Green, also interested in renewable energy. SMART GRID is also a kind of renewable energy, many users, for example, manufacturing company, household etc, through this technology, can gain a lot of advantage. For instance, in house, users can reduce their using electricity fee, in country, they can advance electricity transmission and distribution facility by adopting SMART GRID.
