Study Towards The Interactive Development Of The Producer Sevices And The Manufacturing Of Hunan Province

Since the1980s,with the fast development of service industry and the furtherdeepening of specialization, producer services as the fastest growing and most vibrantin the service industry sector get rapid development, the relationship betweenproducer services and manufacturing became more and more close, reflecting andmeasuring a country’s economic development level and the level of modernization.The direct power of the rapid development of producer services is manufacturing’s"service outsourcing", meanwhile, producer services provides specialized serviceproducts and development platform for the modern manufacturing industry, andbecoming one of the most important source of manufacturing efficiency. Along withthe development of industrialization process, manufacturing demands for more andmore knowledge, information and technology.The producer services, as intermediateinput factor is also more and more integrated into the optimization and upgrade ofmanufacturing, the relationship between them is more and more close and the line isless and less obvious, presenting a highly complementary and the phenomenon ofindustrial convergence. Hunan province to take a new road to industrialization has toaccelerate the development of producer services, promote the integration of advancedproducer services and manufacturing.First of all, based on the theory of service outsourcing in manufacturing, this paperexpounds the concept, connotation, characteristics and function mechanism ofproducer services and manufacturing interaction. Then on the basis of theoreticalanalysis, on the basis of the development of manufacturing industry and producerservices in Hunan province, according to the detailed statistical data analysis ofHunan province from multiple point of system analysis, getting the conclusion thatproducer services and manufacturing have been got a great development, but there arestill some problems-the internal structure of the two major industries is disequilibrium;the development of producer services lags behind the manufacturing sector and is stillin its infancy. Then based on the above theory, we choose the two big industry’soutput, fixed assets investment and the overall labor productivity index as fourvariables, using dynamic econometrics method, carries on the ADF unit root test,Johansen cointegration test, Granger causality test and set up the vector errorcorrection model, makes a thorough empirical study on two major industries. Theresearch results show that there is two-way causal relationship between producer services and manufacturing, the pull function of manufacturing on the producerservices is more obvious, but the producer services’ promotion function tomanufacturing is relatively small, the interaction is still in its infancy.
