Labor Division, Industrial Cluster And Economic Growth

In this paper, the penman selects the mahogany furniture industrial cluster of Dongyang Zhejiang as the main object. This paper starts with labor division theory to explain the generation and development of industrial clusters and to summaries the main impact factors and measurable indicators of the industrial clusters by means of literature study, comparative study and empirical study. Then, a targeted questionnaire is designed to obtain the sample data through random survey among the entrepreneurs gathering in some main mahogany furniture markets of Dongyang. The penman uses SPSS statistical software to make econometric analysis of the data to get the conditions of the target industrial cluster’s labor division. Finally, based on preliminary analysis, the paper appraises the mahogany furniture industrial cluster of Dongyang Zhejiang from three aspects of the firm, industry and government and puts forwards specific policy recommendations aimed to improve the "labor division and cooperation" efficiency.The main ideas of the paper are as follows:1、The theoretical review and literature review. In this part, the main ideas of the division of labor theory are described, including the main ideas of Adam· Smith, Marx, Marshall, Yang Ke, Lewis and other scholars. Then, the penman summaries these different theories and analyses the emergence and development of the industrial clusters. Also, the basic theory of industrial clusters, including the concept, classification, characteristics and all stages of development of the industrial cluster are reviewed and summarized.2、The history of Dongyang wood industry is briefly introduced to explain the background of the development of the mahogany furniture industrial cluster. Then, the paper clarifies the basic facts and the fundamental characteristics of the industry cluster. Based on the summary of the former researches by other scholars on the influencing factors of the industrial clusters’ development, the paper summaries the main factors influencing the development of the subject. According to the former analysis in this paper, the paper summaries the measure of the level of the mahogany furniture industry cluster’s development.3、In order to get enough data for research, the penman designs a questionnaire aimed to investigate the influencing factors and the level of development of the subject. Then, SPSS statistical software is used to deal with the data and draw relevant results.4、Based on the theoretical and empirical research done in the previous sections, more specifical evaluations of the mahogany furniture industrial cluster of Dongyang Zhejiang are made, along with some appropriate countermeasures.This paper explores to start from the labor division theory to research the industrial clusters and then to explain the practical problems. In addition, this study uses field survey and questionnaire analysis to collect large amounts of data and uses statistical software to make analysis, which expands the database of similar study.
