Employer brand is the employer commitment to current and potential employee. It contains external and internal brand. External brand is to establish the brand for the potential employees who they are willing to join this company to work. It can help setup the best work place image for this company. Internal brand exists in its staff. It’s a commitment for employees. It is not only the relations between companies and their employees. It reflects the unique work experience provided by the company to existing and potential employees.Executive force becomes a more and more important key point today. Excellent employer brand can help enterprises to build the unique competitive advantage. How to face the escalating battle for talents is the problem that many companies must solve. Currently. Many companies face the problem that talent is much harder to find and abstain compared with past. Providing much higher salary than the average market price is the only choice for many enterprises. This method will be a failure soon if other enterprises follow suit. The staff retention situation has not been improved. Company operating cost is still keeping rising dramatically.In recent years there is a strategy that has begun to play a role. That is how to establish and maintain a strong employer brand in the hearts of the people. A successful employer brand has great benefit for the development of enterprises. Employer brand effect is also an important factor of success for world famous company such as Google/Apple/Microsoft/Intel.Intel Company continues3years to be listed as the best employer selected and organized by United States Fortune magazine in this world from2009to2012. Intel employer brand ranks among the top25of the world. Innovative enterprise culture and world first-class enterprise image of social responsibility are the key factors for employer brand building success. For example. In the past five years, Intel China staff turnover rate is less than3%. Stable workforce has also brought the stable development to the company. It avoids unnecessary loss of talent and trigger lost.Intel always commits to take social responsibility. Based on innovation/catalysis/shared value’s strategy. Intel has been actively involved cross-border cooperation with all forces. Intel Corporation always focuses on social problems in some urgent work. Such as:education/environmental protection/small and medium-sized enterprise innovation. The positive interaction and participation of social public welfare build up the image of good corporate social responsibility for the company. Only a socially responsible company can take good responsibility for their employees. A good social reputation is an excellent and necessary quality for enterprise employer. So when Intel archives the new height of corporate responsibility, good social feedback and rich social demand will also bring new opportunities for its development.As the market economy of china is growing up, the core competitiveness of enterprises is the key to support the development of enterprises. The core competitiveness is mainly composed of talents. It’s the trend for the Chinese enterprises to strengthen the employer brand construction. The enterprise is very hard to archive the core competitiveness if there is no talent to join in. Even the long term survival of enterprises all will face great difficulties.The theory and practice of employer brand is reviewed at Chapter One.
