Jiangxi Province is currently undergoing a very rapid period of development, the percapita cultivated land is much less. How to reasonable adjust the contradiction between thecultivated land quality construction and the economic development, while taking thecontrol and protection of the total cultivated area and cultivated land quality into account isextremely urgent and needs. This article evaluated the cultivated land quality of JiangxiProvince based on the current situation, conducted spatial-temporal change research on thecultivated land quality since the second time soil survey to keep abreast of changes in thedirection, the amount of change and reasons for the changes of the cultivated land qualityin JiangXi, which will be great significance to guide the actual agricultural production, improve agricultural product environment, improve the quality of cultivated land andachieve sustainable use of cultivated land resources. This article took Jiangxi Province as the study area, based on the extensive collectionand analysis of data in the year from1983to2012, used softwares such as, ArcGIS, Accessand Excel, then established cultivated land quality integration of spatial and attributedatabase of Jiangxi Province; And used AHP, Delphi and Fuzzy method to select theevaluation factors of provincial cultivated land quality evaluation, determined the weightand built membership functions, thereby performed the provincial cultivated land qualityevaluation; And combined with the cultivated land evaluation results of the second timesoil survey, applied Arcgis overlay analysis method, divided the time periods into two parts:from1983to2005and from2005to2012, accorded to the quality grade of cultivated landreduced, level unchanged and elevated levels of three forms to analysis thespatial-temporal change of cultivated land quality from the year1983to2012. This articlemainly achieved the following results:(1) This article used Arcgis spatial analysis techniques and mathematical statisticalanalysis methods have selected11118samples of representative, typical, stability andcomparable from the numerous soil samples from98counties in the year from2008to2012; And based on the extensive collection and analysis of data, used Arcgis to establishcultivated land quality integration of spatial and attribute database of Jiangxi Province.(2) This article used AHP, Delphi and Fuzzy method to select the evaluation factors ofprovincial cultivated land quality, determined the weight and built membership functions, thereby performed the provincial cultivated land quality evaluation. This article built thecultivated land quality evaluation system mainly from four aspects: site conditions, sectionproperties, topsoil conditions and soil management. The13evaluation indicators includeslope, landform, soil erosion degree, soil parent material, profile configuration, topsoilthickness, texture, pH, organic matter, phosphorus, potassium, guaranteed rate irrigation and drainage capacity.(3) Based on the mass index (IFI) of evaluation of cultivated land, and the use ofcumulative frequency curve to evaluate the cultivated land quality in2005and2012respectively, finally divided the cultivated land of JiangXi Province into7grades.The evaluation result of the cultivated land quality in the year2005were as follows:the area of the first grade was257040.41hectares, mainly distributed in YiChun City; thearea of the second grade was321880.80hectares, mainly distributed in ShangRao City,JiAn City and FuZhou City; the area of the third grade and the fourth grade were490029.25hectares and658838.74hectares respectively, mainly distributed in YiChunCity; the area of the fifth grade was499737.45hectares, attributed distributed equally inevery city except NanChang City and the other four smallest cities; the area of the sixthgrade was349745.66hectares, mainly distributed in GanZhou City, JiuJiang City andYiChun City; the area of the seventh grade was281739.57hectares, mainly distributed inJiuJiang City. The evaluation result of the cultivated land quality in the year2012were as follows:the area of the first grade was305010.91hectares, mainly distributed in YiChun City,JingDeZhen City and XinYu City; the area of the second grade was352370.87hectares,mainly distributed in ShangRao City, JiAn City,Nan Chang City and FuZhou City; thearea of the third grade was530535.61hectares, mainly distributed in YiChun City,NanChang City, GanZhou City, JiAn City and FuZhou City; the area of the fourth gradewas699678.96hectares, mainly distributed in GanZhou City and YiChun City; the area ofthe fifth grade was539143.86hectares, mainly distributed in YiChun City; the area of thesixth grade was360857.22hectares, mainly distributed in GanZhou City, JiuJiang CityYiChun City and JiAn City; the area of the seventh grade was297386.36hectares, mainlyin JiuJiang City and ShangRao City. The evaluation results of two years had showed that the fourth grade was the peak ofthe overall quality grade of the distribution of cultivated land in Jiangxi Province, thelower and higher grades gradually reduce the area and presented a normal morphology.(4) Analyzed spatial-temporal change of the cultivated land quality of JiangxiProvince in the year from1983to2012in terms of of cultivated land area change. Theresults showed that in30years of Jiangxi Province with a total area of cultivated land toslow down after showing growth trends, and the area of each grade of cultivated landwere showing some growth. The area of the first grade increased the most obvious, thearea of the second grade did not change significantly during the period1983to2005, thearea increased by30,490.08hectares during the period2005to2012; The area of the thirdgrade was no significant change; The fourth and the fifth grade showed a rapid growthtrend during the period1983to2012; the area of the sixth grade and the seventh gradeshowed the tendency from increasing fast to slow during the period1983to2012. (5) For the quality of cultivated land grade decreased, grade unchanged and grade rosethree forms to conduct the cultivated land spatial distribution change analysis. The resultsshowed that during period1983to2012, the area of quality grade increased was larger thanthat of quality grade decreased and the overall cultivated land quality improved in JiangXiProvince. The area of cultivated land quality grade rose was mainly distributed in thewestern hills mountains, along the river plains area and eastern hilly regions. During thisperiod, the decreasing speed of the cultivated land quality grade had slowed down, whilethe increasing speed of the cultivated land quality grade had improved. The increase anddecrease speed of cultivated land quality reached a balance in some cities and thecultivated land grade decreased areas were mainly concentrated in economically developedcities.
