Study On The Updating Of Cultivated Land Quality Grade Based On GIS

Under the uniform deployment of the Ministry of Land and Resources, from 2003 to 2006, Chongqing constructed the gradation system of agriculture land and established agriculture land grading database which ranged from 1:20000 to 1:100000 in scale andformed an agriculture land classification system. Subsequently, based on the database established in 2011, Chongqing recalculated and redetermined agriculture land quality by using the related parameters of agriculture land classification last term, accomplishing the improvement and supplement work of cultivated land quality and establishedestablishing the 1:10000 cultivated land quality background database.In order to maintain the data currency of cultivated land classification and to implement the new requirements of the requisition-compensation balance between the quantity and quality of cultivated land,the Ministry of Land and Resources carried out a new turn of cultivated land quality graded assessment work nationwide at the beginning of 2014, and put it as a routine work to achieve synchronous update with the grade of land change investigation, offering the decision basis for cultivated land protection, through the annual change trend of the quality of cultivated land.This paper selected Jiagao town of Fengjie County as study area, and then discussed the methodology and technology of renewing the cultivated land quality grade from 2011 to 2013 by using ArcGIS. Taking the ArcGIS as the tool, based on the land use change database of 2011 and 2013,the main contents of this research is: 1) the information subtraction methods which resulted to the cultivated land either increase or decrease; 2) the way of cultivated land quality grade updating data evaluation; 3) the database establishment of cultivated land quality grade complements during 2011 to 2013 and 2013 cultivated land quality grade.From this research we can get several results:(1) Identified the methods and technical route for cultivated land quality grade updating evaluation, and found out the difficulty in the process of updating evaluation;(2) Worked out the methods to extract the agriculture land which remained unchanged,new added or reduced farming map spot with the help of ArcGIS.(3) Found out the way that assess cultivated land quality of the test combined with land remediation data.(4) Identified the way to build database of agriculture land quality grade updating data package and cultivate land quality grade of 2013.
