Can a scientific and reasonable performance evaluation system to effectivelyassess business performance, makes the enterprise to set up a long-term valueapproach to business. Enterprise performance evaluation system got improvementafter decades of development, however, there still did not form a unified, scientificand reasonable performance evaluation system, So this may cause distortion ofenterprise performance evaluation which is not conducive to the realization of theenterprise value maximization and its long-term development. The coal industry asthe important basic and energy industry in our country has bigger effect on thedevelopment of metallurgy, electric power and other important industries, thuspromotes the growth of the national economy. Therefore, how to improve the businessperformance, and make it effectively in the market competition becomes the focus ofour urgent attention. To solve these problems, the first step is to build a set of suitableand comprehensive performance evaluation system according to the characteristics ofthe coal industry.As a typical listed company in the domestic coal industry company,Zcorporation has all the characteristics of the coal industry have described above.Based on Z corporation as the research object, this paper analyze the defects of theexisting performance evaluation, Put forward the optimizing scheme of performanceevaluation system, namely a EVA-BSC comprehensive performance evaluationsystem and by using analytic hierarchy process (ahp) and the ratio evaluation methodto quantify the indexes. The performance evaluation index system is a combination ofEVA (economic value added) and the balanced scorecard evaluation system of theirrespective advantages, and consider the characteristics of the coal industry and Zcompany itself. The performance evaluation index system whose core is EVA indexcovers the following four dimensions: Finance; Internal business processes;Customers; Growing and Learning and it contains14evaluation index.Although this article build the integrated EVA-BSC performance evaluationsystem for Z company, with other enterprise in the industry of coal energy has manysimilarities with the Z company, so the evaluation system build in this paper can beused by other enterprises in the same industry after appropriate modified and expandthe application range of the comprehensive performance evaluation system.
