Studying On The Evolution Trend Of Guangdong Province And The Upgrading Of Consumption Structure

During Twelfth-five period, the expansion of domestic demand, in particular the consumptive demand, being important content to accelerate the transformation of economic development mode of Guangdong. From the Per Capita GDP, Guangdong has entered into the development stage of$7000-10000Per Capita at present. According to international experience, this stage is critical period significantly of consumer demand increasing, especially comfortable、developmental customer demand, but Guangdong consumption share of GDP is at a low level of long-term, there are a number of factors constrains the upgrading of the consumption structure of Guangdong. How to guide and foster the formation of new hot consumption spots, to break the policy、institutional and environmental barriers what restricting the consumption structure upgrading of Guangdong Province, to make the best to promote consumption structure of matching Guangdong industrial structure, is a major issue worthy of further study.In this study, consumer economics, statistics and other disciplines theory as a guide, integrated use of qualitative and quantitative analysis methods, the consumption structure as the starting point, based on the residents in Guangdong, analysis of urban and rural residents in Guangdong since the reform and opening up of the consumption structure evolution trend combined with analysis of Western developed countries more mature consumption structure evolution trends, policies and measures to promote the upgrading of consumption structure, in order to predict trends in Guangdong consumption structure, for the government to promote the consumption structure more healthy and orderly transition to upgrade policy recommendations. The main conclusions of this study include:Since the reform and opening up, the consumption structure characteristics of Guangdong residents changed significantly, the proportion of the necessities of life, living consumption expenditure in total consumption expenditure decreased, enjoy the development of consumer spending accounts for the proportion of consumer spending continue to improve. The government should formulate corresponding policies to encourage the production of innovation, technology innovation and financial innovation to expand the overall consumption of residents. With the information network of new products, new technologies, new services emerging, information consumption is rapidly becoming a new round of consumption hot spots. Guangdong should speed up the adjustment of industrial structure, promote the integration of information technology and industrialization, promotion of information consumption.Along with the vigorous development of low-carbon economy, the implementation of green development strategy, the proportion of energy consumption, environmental protection as represented by the green products in the field of consumption rise, new green products consumption period will come. The government should make corresponding subsidies or incentives, for high-end electronic information, new LED, new energy vehicles and other high-end products to increase subsidies, should also encourage residents of energy-saving appliances, small cars and high efficiency motors and other consumer productsWith the further development of economic globalization, further open China’s commodity markets, the consumer trend of internationalization further enhanced, in Guangdong’s high-end consumer goods are increasing, Guangdong people will face more international consumption environment.
