The Research On Social Responsibility Report Of Sinosteel Corporation Based On Stakeholder Theory

Corporate social responsibility report is the important process andcarrier of comprehensive communication between a company and thestakeholders. It is also a kind of exemplification for social responsibility.Therefore, with the progress of the times and the operation mode ofcompanies increasingly riping, Corporate social responsibility report wasgradually improving since the1970s. Sinosteel Corporation （for shortSinosteel）is a large multinational corporation. In the set of resourcedevelopment, trade and logistics, engineering technology, equipmentmanufacturing, professional services, it offers comprehensive systemintegration services for the steel industry. As an important businesspeople’s livelihood, it has been prepared for six consecutive years SocialResponsibility Report, First prepared and released the "SinosteelCorporation Report on Sustainable Development in Africa","SinosteelCorporation Report on Sustainable Development in Australia".This paper researches documents at home and aboard which containthe social responsibility of industry, the social responsibility report ofindustry and stakeholder theory firstly. Secondly it explains the theoreticalbasis of the social responsibility report, and the relationship betweendemand and supply of stakeholder theory and the social responsibilityreport. Thirdly it introduces Sinosteel Corporation and its status of thesocial responsibility. Fourthly, in accordance with the stakeholder theory,it divides Stakeholders from the social responsibility report of SinosteelCorporation into6parts which contain the shareholder responsibility,employee responsibility, client responsibility, partner responsibility, governmental responsibility and community responsibility. And moreover,through method of comparative analysis in6kinds of Stakeholders, itshows the deficiency in fulfilling the social responsibility. Lastly byanalysing the problem from Stakeholders, it gives some suggests aboutfulfilling the social responsibility report from6kinds of Stakeholders.The theory from the paper is good for Sinosteel Corporation inbuilding the system of the social responsibility, fulfilling the socialresponsibility, and achieving the enterprise’s economic value and socialvalue. On the other hand, it becomes a practical example of stakeholdertheory.
