Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Attracting Investment In Shi Gu District

With the deepening reform of economy and society and the change ofgovernment functions in China, attracting investment is widely used by localgovernment as the most rapid and most effective development mode, and italso gets remarkable results. Facing the competition of attracting investment,how should local governments integrate the limited resources and play theirown advantages to determinate their functional orientation in attractinginvestment? And what effective reasonable measures should localgovernment take to achieve leapfrog development? Research and discussionon these issues is of great significance to the development of local economyand society. This paper first introduces research background, status at homeand abroad, theory and thought of attracting investment. Then it analyzes thepresent problems of attracting investment in Shi Gu district through the fieldresearch and interview, clearly pointing out the problems in the attractinginvestment, such as its idea, previous work, industrial structure. Based onresearch on the status of investment attraction in Shi Gu district, the paperputs forward countermeasures to optimize the attracting investment aiming ata series of problems in present investment attraction. Next, it analyzes theapplication of attracting investment ideas of Hua Yao city project, shows theidea of the introduction of Hua Yao city project, and summarizes thesuccessful introduction. Meanwhile, it explains the successful experience ofattracting investment in Shi Gu district from many aspects, such ashighlighting the advantages from the perspective of value orientation,changing ideas, reviving the district by projects, initiatively attracting investment by investing, industrial cluster, contending for and selectingbusiness. Finally, the paper presents its main work, existing problems andresearch directions.To sum up, taking Hua Yao City project as a typical example in China,this paper hopes to offer some references for making attracting investmentstrategy for China’s government by studying Hua Yao city project.
