Research On Science And Technology Popularization System In The Process Of Agricultural Modernization In China

The Central Government and the State Council have been attaching great importance to the problem of "Three Rural Issues". From2004to2014, our central government released central first documents on the theme of "Three Rural Issues" for11consecutive years, which emphasizes the top priority of "Three Rural Issues" in the process of socialist modernization.Though agriculture has made great achievements after thirty years of development of reform and opening up, it is still our weakness in the work of all aspects. Accordingly, agriculture needs strengthening and improving constantly. Agricultural research, agricultural popularization and agricultural education constitute the backbone of modern agricultural development. It is obvious that popularization of science and technology plays an important role in agricultural development. As to our popularization system of science and technology, however, there are still many problems which should be studied and solved urgently. Therefore this paper first describes such theories as agricultural modernization, agricultural science and technology and berry symbiosis theory. At the same time, it introduces the contents of construction of science and technology popularization system of modern agriculture. Next, the paper makes an analysis of the present situation of our agricultural science and technology popularization system in the process of modern agriculture, pointing out some existing problems and causes. Meanwhile, it makes an analysis and a summary of successful experience in agricultural science and technology popularization of some agriculturally developed countries, such as the United States and Japan. Then it draws some inspirations and reference for the construction of our agricultural science and technology popularization system. Finally, based on the problems summarized above, the paper puts forward some feasible suggestions and policies from several aspects to build and perfect our agricultural science and technology popularization system.
