In recent years, with the maturing of consumer online shopping behavior, the courier industry ushers an unprecedented surge of development. Meanwhile, lots of companies begin to enter in this industry. In the face of the market situation, competition for outstanding employees between express enterprises becomes more and more fierce. According to the data, almost every express enterprises has a highly turnover leve at the grass-roots employee in our country at present. Previous studies have shown that high employee turnover is directly related to low employee satisfaction. Therefore, learning the satisfaction of grass-roots employee in express enterprises, exploring its profound influence factors, and taking measures to avoid the loss of outstanding employees, becomes one of the most important research subjects. This thesis takes the grass-roots employee in Zhejiang express enterprises as the research object. Basis on the in-depth interviews and questionnaires, this thesis using SPSS17.0statistical software, analysising the survey data to explore the main factors of grass-roots employee satisfaction in express enterprise and their impact on the employee satisfaction degree. Finally, this thesis proposes several suggestions to improve the satisfaction of grass-roots employees.This thesis is mainly divided into five parts. The first part briefly introduces the research, including the research background, the research purpose and significance, the research content and method, as well as the research framework. The second part is about theories related to employee satisfaction such as its definition, measures, influencing factors both at home and abord. The third part is research designing, including research assumptions, investigation, questionnaire designing, the selection of sample and statistical methods.The fourth part is the empirical analysis, including characteristics of sample description, factor analysis, reliability and validity analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis, and verify the corresponding assumptions. The last part is research conclusion and prospect, including the research conclusion, management suggestions, research innovation, limitation and future prospects. The innovation of the thesis is mainly reflected in the following two aspects. Firstly, the innovation of research object:This thesis chooses the employees of Zhejiang express enterprises as the research object. Although domestic and foreign scholars have made a large number of researches on the satisfaction degree of employees, there is seldom research on the satisfaction degree of grass-roots employee in express enterprises. Based on the related previous research, this thesis studies on the satisfaction of grass-roots employees who work in express enterprise, which can further enrich and perfect the employee satisfaction research. Secondly, Building an employee satisfaction scale. The empirical research of grass-roots employee satisfaction in express enterprise is very rare. Based on the previous studies and in-depth interviews, combined with the characteristics of express enterprises, this study builds a satisfaction scale appropriated for grass-roots employee in express enterprise, and develops a questionnaire with that scale. Based on the statistical analysis of survey data, this thesis in-depth analyzes the situation and its influencing factors of the satisfaction of grass-roots employees in Zhejiang express enterprises, finally puts forward systematic measures to improve their satisfaction.
