The Impact Of High Energy Consuming Industries On Electricity Demand In Ningxia And The Coping Strategies For Power Grid Enterprise

High energy consuming industries have been attracting much attention of power grid enterprises, which directly affects the development of power production and operation. The high proportion of high energy consuming industries in Ningxia, determines its development directly influences the regional electricity market stability. After years of development, Ningxia formed electrolytic aluminum, ferroalloy, calcium carbide, silicon carbide and polycrystalline silicon as the pillar of high energy industrial system."Twelfth Five Year Plan" period, the state has increased the economic restructuring and energy conservation efforts, some high energy consuming companies in Ningxia have cut production, causing an electrical load reduction and reduce power consumption.We choose electrolytic aluminum, ferroalloy, calcium carbide, silicon carbide industries, four major high energy industries Ningxia, and poly silicon industry which shocked by market demand as the scope of the study. Through the analysis of Ningxia high energy industrial structure, we found that the high energy consuming industries in Ningxia have been mature and stable, its product quality and price in the country has a strong competitive; through the relationship of energy price and the high energy consuming industries, we found that the impact of energy price policy lies mainly in the industrial unit power consumption, its development and consumption severely constrained by the the energy price policy. Ningxia’s economic development relies on the support of high energy consuming industries, when the market and production difficulties, the local government in order to avoid its severe impact on the local economy adjusting the price policy to support it as far as possible, but only as a temporary measure to solve the problem of losses of the enterprise. Ningxia power grid enterprises through the implementation of direct purchase of electricity measures, mobilize the enthusiasm of high load user, attract high energy enterprises to actively develop downstream of high-tech industry chain, the formation of long-term, stable electricity market. Based on mastering the high load industrial electricity market, we can make a scientific forecast of high industry demand for electricity, which provide the basis for short-term and long-term prediction of development of Ningxia electric power market,and to promote the use of electricity market stability, support measures according to the characteristics of different industries.The study found high energy consuming industry is the dominant force to promote the economic development of Ningxia,and is the most important customer of power grid enterprise. Under the existing energy price system, the power consumption of high energy consuming industry in general will maintain a steady growth trend, but growth will decrease than in2010and2011. preferential price policies adopted by Ningxia is only provisional measures as a solution to high energy consuming enterprises loss problem; time price can make the energy consuming industry take a good effect in load adjustment; the implementation of high energy consumers direct purchasing strategy be imperative, will encourage the enthusiasm of power companies and high energy consuming industries, and promote the rapid development of high energy consuming industry, power grid enterprises and high energy consuming industry will be a win-win...
