Smart power community is the product of technological innovation. It is a modern district which is to adapt the distributed power application, the requirement of electric vehicles energy storage, users demand diversification, as well as the variety of modern communication and control technology and the implementation of state " triple play" strategy. Study the operating model of smart power community, which is a great significance for the community construction and promotion, and has a role in promoting the smart grid construction and improving the residents’ lifestyle, which make a foundation for the future smart electricity life.This paper firstly introduces the theory of smart power cells, including the smart power cells’ connotation, characteristics, key technology and the future development trends. Then the paper gives the analysis of the smart power cells construction demands from three-dimensional including the business flow, the power flow and the information flow. According to the construction demands, the paper builds the smart power system, including the consumption information collection system, the residential distribution automation system, the smart electricity service interactive platform, the management system for the electricity vehicles charging pile, the smart home system, the distributed power system, as well as the meter reading system of the water, gas and electricity. On this basis, the paper analyzes the smart power cells’ operating model, constructed the operating model of each system and analyzed the construction mechanism, the operation mechanism and the profitable way of each system operating model.This paper aims to provide some ideas and thoughts for the smart power cells construction and promotion, and some impetus for the smart power cells spread in the future via studying the operating model.
