It is shown by some researches that more than90%of the output value of sportsindustry in China is produced by private sports goods enterprises. Most of thoseenterprises are of small scale, and they belong to small and medium–sized enterprises.They mainly rely on some big and strong companies at home and abroad, so that theprofit is little. Since the outbreak of financial crisis in2008, the private enterprisesincluding private sports goods companies all have been suffering great loss.Research on the transformation and upgrading of private sports enterprises canfirstly provide a basis for the practical process. Meanwhile, it can help the enterprisesto choose a right way to transform and an effective corresponding solution accordingto different influential factors. Besides, researches on the upgrading andtransformation of private sports goods enterprises are not so many or systematic,although these enterprises are important parts in sport industry. This research canmake a contribution to enriching the related theories to a great extent. Last but notleast, private sports goods enterprises are a micro part of sports industry and mostpeople have an access to it. An empirical study based on some related economicstheories and research fruit of sports industry can realize the integration of theory andpractice much better.Literature, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics, field observation andinterview methods are used in this research. And the author makes this research formsuch three aspects as reasons, influential factors and ways. A representative example,Zhejiang Hua Ying Group is chosen for analysis. And then the author validates theresults of theoretical analysis and empirical research. Besides, some experience that isworth learning from is summarized. Three conclusions can be drawn from thisresearch.(1)There are three reasons for Transformation and upgrading of private sportsenterprises.One is the change of the social demand for sports goods;Secondly, policyand the requirements of the transformation of economic development;A third is due tothe sporting goods industry and product quality, performance is: the product of thepeople by nature, the overall strength is weak, industry low barriers to entry, thesefactors make private sports goods enterprises competition is intense, had to survivethrough the transformation and upgrading.(2) At the early stage of the development of private sports goods enterprises,they should choose specialist strategy and implement technology upgrade to priorityto achieve the purpose of accumulating strength for future development lay thefoundation; After the enterprise possesses a certain strength, they can choosediversification strategy and seek new profit growth point.(3)Through the theoretical analysis indicates that the factors affectingtransformation and upgrading of private sports goods enterprises, and verified byempirical way, got14higher impact on the transformation and upgrading hasesteemed indicators. Through the explanation of the indicators and analysis, foundthat some index mode of the influence of the transformation and upgrading, and standards, indicators are classified into three categories: incentive factors, affordablefactors and internal factors.
