FDI On The Impact Of Foreign Trade In Jilin Province And Countermeasures

With the rapid pace of economic globalization, capital flows between countries are increasingly active, at the same time, foreign direct investment (FDI) has become one of the main ways of capital flows, has become the host country (especially is the development of the host country) to get the main channel of external capital. FDI role in the global economy is becoming more and more important, but also having an increasing impact on the economic development of developing countries. According to the latest report of the United Nations, in2003China surpassed the U.S. as the largest country in the world to introduce FDIAccording to the global economic development situation, the relationship gets strengthened between the international merchandise trade and FDI day by day.Specifically, the effect of FDI in promoting the development of a country’s foreign trade, promoting domestic economic growth, improving the level of human capital, increasing employment opportunities and other aspects of the role is very obvious, especially China’s eastern coast begins to develop rapidly after the introduction of foreign capital. Because china’s eastern coast set an example, in order to promote the development of local import and export trade, other provinces also begin to have a lot of foreign investment.In this paper, Jilin Province as the specific research object. Firstly, the paper introduces the basic situation of Jilin Province from three aspects (including the total scale, origin constitute and the regional distribution of FDI), and show some problems of Jilin Province in the use of FDI, then analyze the impact of FDI to Jilin and the relationship between FDI and the total imports and exports of Jilin Province, total exports, total imports, the net exports, according to the linear regression analysis in the econometrics, and finally the paper comes up with some countermeasures about taking advantage of FDI in Jilin province.
