| Since the1990s, with the fast development of foreign direct investment (FDI) in China, FDI has become an important force in making indelible achievements in the fields of foreign trade, economic restructuring and employment. In the year of2007and2008respectively, the implementation of the new Guidance of Foreign Investment Catalogue and the new Law of Enterprise Income Tax has indicated that China has begun to lead FDI to the industries of high-tech, service and such the third industries, expectes FDI could make some efforts to promote industrial restructuring.In the recent decades, Jilin Province has experienced the rapid economic development, in the meanwhile, which has been enjoying the policies of Revitalizing the Northeast Old Industrial Base and Building Changjitu forerunner area and other national strategy, the foreign investment environment has become more favorable to attract more and more FDI in Jilin Province.Through reciting classic theories, literatures and combining empirical data and empirical analysis, this paper will make a more comprehensive description of the dynamic process of the impact of foreign direct investment on foreign trade in Jilin Province.By summing the situations of FDI and foreign trade development from the year of1985to2012, based on the mechanism of the impact of FDI on trade studies, this paper analyzes the different influences of different factors working on the impact of trade from FDI.In the empirical part, this paper makes an attempt to draw the impact of FDI on trade mechanisms and regulations, and in order to investigate the contribution of FDI to industrial upgrading in Jilin Province, this paper has also established a model of technology spillover effect of FDI. By econometric regression analysis, this paper makes the use of time series models, ARMA autocorrelation correction model, and Granger causality test, so that the results of the analysis could make a good reflection of objective reality. |
