Woody Biomass Energy Development Research In China:on The Base Of Regional Forest Resources

Forest biomass energy is a kind of important renewable energy, which has renewable, low pollution and extensive distribution attributes. Under the situation of global fossil energy’s gradual reduction and the environmental degradation, developing forest biomass energy is considered one of the effective ways to solve the energy crisis and to realize sustainable development. Due to differences in natural conditions and forest resources endowment, the forest biomass resources and biomass energy development ability are not identical in different parts of China. Therefore different regions play role variously in emission reduction and alternative to fossil energy. This article on the basis of the theory of sustainable development, regional development theory, the carbon cycle theory, economics, statistics, and so on theory analyzes the regional forest biomass energy resource conditions of our country, replacement level and development capacity problem is studied and discussed. This paper firstly measurement the regional forest biomass for analyzing the distribution and change, then combined with the resources and energy to the development of bio-energy ability of comprehensive evaluation, research found that the richer forest resources, social and economic development, the more advanced the development ability. The article also applied SWOT-PEST analysis model to internal conditions and external environment of forest biomass energy industry, then chose growth strategy and transformation strategy according to the analysis. Finally draw the conclusion:Woody biomass energy development in China at the primary stage, the resource base is relatively weak; Woody biomass energy substitution ability is limited, but the environmental benefit is obvious; Different provinces has various of wooden biomass energy development ability, development mainly rely on the resource and economic advantages; The government’s policy support to promote the development of wooden biomass energy plays an important role.
