Study Of Service Optimization And Innovation To Telecom Carrier Network Operation And Maintenance Based On Ppidioo Life-Cycle Methodology

There is a hot topic recently theory and practice recently, which is how to deeply understand of the demands of network O&M (operation and maintenance) services for telecom carrier(telecommunication service provider), to strengthen the service provision and management, to improve service quality and efficiency, to provide more suitable service for carriers’ network, and to prove the service value.This thesis is based on PPDIOO (Prepare, Plan, Design, Implementation, Operation and Optimization) life-cycle methodology, and the actual demands of O&M services for domestic carriers’network, as well as how network service providers serves carriers’networks. This paper proposed a carrier-oriented methodology about optimization and innovation for network O&M service, which is based on PPDIOO framework and.The main research work of this thesis is focused on the following four parts:1. Firstly it analyzed the actual demands for O&M service from the domestic carrier. Then established the relationship between the demands of O&M services and the entire lifecycle of PPDIOO. And explain the necessity to build a network O&M services based on PPDIOO architecture.2. the new service demands architecture of O&M services standardization based on PPDIOO Domestic carriers’network services:service category, service processes, service personnel and system tools3. The current service state and challenges of domestic carrier and network service provider 4. Optimization and innovation proposals, based on PPDIOO theory, facing the challenges of carriers’network servicesThe author desires this thesis can provide some valuable inspiration to our domestic information service provider about network O&M service process.
