Countryside students who have received higher education are important talents and human resource to our nation’s social and economic development. And as to those students, to get a job is an inevitable choice to fulfill self-value and social value, as well as an important way of changing the fate of their family, getting rid of poverty and achieving the inheritance of career. However, in recent years, a large number of graduated countryside students became the main force of so-called ant and mouth tribes, known as the low-income dwellers. Obtaining more chance and improving the quality of employment is the main way of pushing themselves into the elite group. Employment quality of "knowledge-based workforce" who are from rural area not only affects the sense of social belong and safety of themselves, also the stability and sustainability of social development. Therefore, it is of great practical significance to study this subject.Based on the above information, this paper will take these graduated countryside students as objects, and give them an operational definition as "knowledge-based workforce" In this study, a survey will be carried out to solve two questions:First, whether the difference of urban and rural background would affect the employment quality of " knowledge-based workforce"; Second, in which aspects would it affect and the reasons.First, this study would establish systematic and objective evaluation system of employment quality, which is based on dimensions of the material guarantee, stability and development of career, as well as the sense of risk and satisfaction. Besides that, in this paper, statistical approaches such as factor analysis, independent sample T test and transactional analysis would be adopted to discuss the affections of background difference on employment quality. In the end, based on the results, this paper would also provide policy suggestions. Through empirical analysis, we have reached the following conclusions:Ⅰ. The difference between urban and rural background has remarkable influence on the categories of "knowledge-based workforce" employment industries. Affected by social capital, knowledge workers who have urban background are more likely to serve in traditional industries whose stability, treatment and social status are much better.Ⅱ. The difference between urban and rural background has remarkable influence on salaries, job security and prospects. Due to the larger percentage of the urban knowledge-worker" employment in party and government organizations, so the index of material guarantee and job prospects of the urban subjects are better than rural ones.III. Affected by professional ability level, as the length of serve grows, the difference between urban and rural background would be more significant on the position level of " knowledge-based workforce ". As the rural subjects professional ability level is higher than the urban ones, as the length of service grows, the promotion of rural " knowledge-based workforce " is much larger than the urban ones and as a whole, the positon level is also much better than the urban ones.Based on the background, this paper also carried out a profound discussion on the significance of pursuing employment rates as well as promoting employment quality. In addition, we also belive that these countryside " knowledge-based workforce " who have received higher education should get more social attention due to their disadvantage in their background.Based on these study conclusions, this paper would like to offer the following policy suggestions:firstly, cutting down the barrier of dual household registration system, to provide a fair and competitive employment environment; secondly, enhancing supervision on social and job security of rural " knowledge-based workforce "; thirdly, the rural " knowledge-based workforce " should also pay attention to improve their professional ability; fourthly, the preferential policies of rural " knowledge-based workforce " employment should be complete and perfect; fifthly, the legal system of employment should be perfect and the supervision on Labor Law should be intensified.
