A Study Of Landless Peasant Employment On The Background Of Urban-rural Integration

As a new development pattern, urban-rural integration plays an important role inthe town-driving-county policy, in the agriculture with the help of industry strategy, inthe promotion of urban and rural economic, in the promotion of sound and rapidurbanization process, and plays an important role in accelerate the construction ofrural infrastructure, it’s the basic way to solve the “agriculture, rural areas andfarmers” problem. In a county or a region, urban-rural integration helps urban andrural form as an organic entirety, and interdependent each other, the relationship ofcity and county is no longer a monolithic block dual structure, the new formation ofurban-rural integration and coordinated development can be formed. In this newdevelopment pattern, new opportunity came out on the solution of the problem inlandless peasant employment. The problem of landless peasant employment will be inthe direction of the benign and sustainable development through the urban-ruralintegration industrial development, industrial park construction, employment trainingand social policy. On this background, studies on how to make urban-rural integrationas the basic way in the solve employment problem of the landless peasant, hasimportant theoretical value and practical significance.This thesis set the problem of landless peasant employment in Eastern IndustrialZone of Y County as an example, through questionnaire survey and fieldinvestigation in landless peasant in Eastern Industrial Zone of Y County. Authorconsider that the own quality and concept of landless peasant, the level regionalindustrial development level, the degree of industrial park construction, theurban-rural integration level, the policy of land acquisition and social insurance, willaffect the employment of landless peasant. Bring about the actual employment rate oflandless peasant stay low, structural unemployment get serious, career pathway issingle and the risk of unemployment is high. Put forward follow dimension oflandless peasant, social economy and policy, through the urban and rural integrationin job training, industrial development and job security, solve the problem of employment in landless peasant.This thesis divides into four parts:The beginning part is the introduction and research design. This part is primarilytarget the research background of this thesis, literature review, research situation indomestic and foreign of urban-rural integration and landless peasant, the innovationpoints and difficulties in this thesis, and the logical, theory support of this thesis.The second part of this thesis is the investigation of Eastern Industrial Zone in YCounty. The investigation divided into five dimensions: basic information, landrequisition compensation, employment situation, social capital and job security.The third part analyzes the cause of difficulties of landless peasant. This analysisbased on this dimensions: the factors of the landless peasant, the factors of socialeconomy, and the factors of social policy.The forth part, in view of the causes of landless peasant employment difficulties,set urban-rural integration as the basic way, put forward the counter measures.
