With the development of financial globalization, informatization, liberalizationand the promotion of interest rate liberalization,the traditional income profit modelfor commercial banks which rely on lending interest is seriously threatened, sonowadays, the intermediate business which has the advantages of small risk, low costand high profit, is becoming the focus of the development direction of commercialbank. China Construction Bank Hunan Branch changed the traditional profit modeland developed intermediate business profit model very early, which effectivelyexpanded the profit growth. But due to the relatively short period of time andinsufficient experience, the development of intermediate business is facing manyproblems.This paper take China Construction Bank Hunan Branch as the object, base ondiscuss the external environment, industrial environment and development ofcompany business, by using document analysis, comparative analysis, empiricalanalysis and other research methods, also with PEST, SWOT models, ChinaConstruction Bank Hunan Branch was found to expand intermediate businessgenerally favorable external environment, intermediary business has obviousadvantages and disadvantages, and also facing opportunities and severe challenges.China Construction Bank Hunan Branch should choose developmental strategy, meansthe use of domestic and international opportunities for improvement in themacroeconomic environment,strengthen internal management organizational structure,business management, risk control, strengthen the balance sheet, agents, consultingservice, e-commerce, enterprise annuity product innovation,use brand, relationshipmarketing, differentiation to conduct business marketing, consolidate and expand itsmarket position in intermediate business.Explored the problems and risks that mayexist in intermediate business development strategies for China Construction BankHunan Branch, proposed should strengthen cultural construction, improve businessincentives, increase human resource development, enhance technical supportcapabilities to ensure the smooth implementation of the strategy. Evaluating theintermediate results of intermediate business development strategies at last. Thisstudy proposed Hunan Branch of China Construction Bank safeguards theintermediate business; it will help promote the healthy development of this businessbut also has an important promotion reference value for guiding the development of intermediate business.
