Abstract/Summary:
21st century IT companies face more intense international competition, competition among enterprises is focused on the contest and technology, and competing technologies is ultimately a competitive knowledge-based employees. However, due to the presence of relatively short history of IT companies, the current areas of concern for IT companies, including aspects of knowledge workers motivation, satisfaction, compensation, development, mobility, career planning. Studies on the growth areas of IT knowledge workers has not yet attracted researchers’ attention, research deficiencies.The article gives a compound conclusion of the influential factors on growth of knowledge worker in IT enterprises with the practical investigation support. Through statistics analysis on the survey results, the above factors can be ranked by judging the importance of each item:the individual ability of employee, the supporting strength of IT enterprises and the security capability of social environment. Based on this, the serial factors can be inducted by using the Principal Components Analysis and referring to the sensitivity data of each influential factor on knowledge-based employee:four factors on the individual ability of employee, consisting of the knowledge innovation skills of knowledge-based employee, the value pursuit strengthens of knowledge-based employee, the self-concern degree of knowledge-based employee and the support and influence out of family and friends; six factors on the supporting strength of IT enterprises, which include the training and career plan of employee, the human resources support, the working identities, the working environment, the management operation, the enterprise culture and its social status. On the basis of Principal Components Analysis, the research conducted under the certain social security of social environment with the aim of exploring the relationship between the individual ability of knowledge-based IT employee and the supporting capability of IT enterprises. The relationship was confirmed not to be the cause and effect but the complement of each other. Referring to this conclusion, the influential factors on the growth of knowledge-based employee in IT enterprises can be described with a model. Finally, we can draw up the strategies of promoting the growth of knowledge workers from three perspectives:the individual employee, IT enterprises and social environment.Through research, we are mainly derived from the following three perspectives improvements to enhance output of IT enterprise knowledge workers than with stocks。 First judged from the individual employee, the strategies focus on elevating the individual ability, cultivating the complete training and developing system, inspiring the inner growing motivations and strengthening the support of family and friends; Second from the IT enterprises, the strategies focus on improving training and developing system, strengthening the modification of work design, emphasizing on the professional career plan and promoting the innovation of organization structure and the contracture of enterprise culture; Third from the social environment, the strategies focus on concentrating on the establishment of policy and law environment, and improving the contracture of economical environment、social cultural environment and technological environment.
