At present, rural tourism develops rapidly and constantly, it meets the consumption demands of tourists, also has increased farmers’ income and brings the economic development to rural areas. But as the tourists travel demands being more diversified, personalized and experience, there are some problems in the rural tourism products such as resources development, the management idea, and service level. Meanwhile educational tourism, as a new type of special tourism form, gets the favor from the tourism market and facing the bottleneck problems like the lack of tourism resources This paper tries to combining rural tourism and educational tourism, analyzes that rural tourism provided tourism "space" and "landscape" for the development of educational tourism, and educational tourism help to excavate the cultural connotation of the rural tourism resources and promote the level of the product such as ideas, and further to study on rural educational tourism product development under experience economy era background.Based on the related literature and data and theoretical study at home and abroad on rural tourism and education tourism, it firstly constructs education theory, and analyze feasibility on tourism resources, market demand and travel experience. Secondly, it builds evaluation index system on the education function of the rural tourism resources, and shows production paths in three aspects tourism resources, tourism market and tourism experience. In addition, in the micro level, it analyzes the factors of rural educational tourism products, such as forms and supporting system. Finally, it conducts the empirical research in Jinhua Longtan stream in Nanshan area to demonstrate and to guide the rural educational tourism product development in the concrete practice. The basic idea and the conclusion of this paper are following:(1) Rural educational tourism mainly constructs the correlation from tourism resources, tourism market demand and experience. Specifically, it refers a kind of personalized tourism activities combing "learning" and "play", in which tourists can find pleasure in the process of tourism education experience as the fundamental purpose, and realize their knowledge and skills of individual development by cognition and interaction of information with the rural tourism resource in the rural geographical space.(2) In rural educational tourism, rural elements provide space and resources in development of education tourism, and enrich form and content of education tourism, and breakthrough the limitation from the monopoly resources in urban and scenic spots. Educational tourism brings new ideas and meanings for rural tourism activities and resources development, product concept and service levels, also reflects development trend of transformation in the rural tourism.(3) Rural educational tourism resources are mainly based on the rural tourism resource, formed the educational function of index evaluation system on resources. Specifically, it based on the perspective for tourists of different age groups, extract the target on aspects of education function of resources to different tourists. According to the different groups in the physique and the weights are different, it combines different groups in the market share and preliminary quantitative analyzes educational function of tourism resource, and further provides reference to specific development.(3) Rural educational tourism product development path mainly is based on rural education tourism resources, market demands and experience. According to the characteristics of tourism resources, it mainly consists of the village landscape, historical sites, agricultural technology and folk performance which combine with the specific educational significance to carry out different types of activity. In terms of market demands, it mainly divides into for youth groups, urban family group, and the old group products. In terms of tourism experience, it mainly from the implementation path of rural education tourism, presents sightseeing, social, and imitation, game education tourism products. (5) In specific development of rural educational tourism product mainly consists of design concept, the path of experience and education oriented, the its concept main combined travel demands and education goals, includes "learning-oriented","scene" and "thematic" concept. In terms of experience, it mainly put forwards to the characters, time frame, spatial mismatch and element integration to achieve the experience of product. In term of educational guidance of tourism product, it points out that the education targets, education activities and education method should be corresponded to the product function, the form of products, and its experience path. In addition, by the means of outstanding educational function in product space layout, route design, and service facilities to contribute to development of the rural educational tourism product.
