Research On Establishment And Application Of The Supplier Evaluation System In C Company

The importance of supply chain management has been concerned by more and more companies. As the start of supply chain management, supplier is playing an important role in each company. Strengthening the strategic cooperation relationship with supplier, which can improve the quality of products, reduce the inventory level, response rapidly to customer demands and improve the level of customer satisfaction.C company is the largest semiconductor assembly and test company in China,which is facing with fierce competition and challenges. C company was set up in2012, so the management in all aspects are not very perfect, especially in supplier management, while the suppliers evaluation and selection are the basis of supplier management. Therefore this paper takes C company’s supplier evaluation and selection as the topic, to help C company select the best supplier, as to reduce the cost and enhance the competitiveness.This article is based on the relevant theory of supply chain management, using literature research,expert evaluation method and empirical approach to study C company’s supplier evaluation and selection.Firstly, introducing the overview of the C company, describing the present situation of the supplier management, analyzing the problems and causes of C company’s supplier evaluation and selection. Secondly, indicating the principles of C company’s supplier evaluation and selection,establishing a system of supplier selection and evaluation for C company combined with its original index system, including five first indexes and second seventeen indexes.Thirdly,taking the lead frame suppliers A and B and C as the example,using the model and classification weighting method to choose the best supplier among them for C company, therefore improving its competitiveness on supply chain.
