Study On The Urban And Rural Residents, Income Difference Of Kshi Area

Along with the rapid development of social economy and continuously growingof national economy, improvement of urban-rural residents’ income level is a generalrule. But at the same time, the expansion of income gap has become a hot socialconcern and the important part of government’s macroeconomic regulation. Kashiregion is a large population and poor economy area, and also is a weak industrial zonein Xinjiang. Since the reform and opening up, expansion of income gap betweenurban and rural area while the increase of Kashi area residents’ income level hasbecome an important restricting factor of social economic development.In this paper, by focusing on the analysis of urban-rural income gap,scientifically predict the future trend of urban-rural income gap, discuss theseriousness of the problem, and explore the causes and effects of widening incomegap, puts forward policy suggestions, and tries to provide certain ideas and clues forfuture research. The study divided into five chapters. In chapter one, on the basic ofcombining previous study, defines the relevant concepts of income distribution, givesa brief contradiction of this research’s background, researching purpose and meaning,provides theoretical basis for study of this article. In chapter two, analyze Kashiregion economic development level and current income statue of residents. In chapterthree, focus on the analysis of urban-rural income gap and predict its future trend. Inchapter four, comprehensively analysis the causes and negative effects of incomegap to social economic development. In chapter five, based on the reason of incomegap, puts forward several suggestions on narrowing the income gap.
