Abstract: Before and after the foudation of PRC, land ownership in Shangdian County has its own characteristics. From the situation of different sectors of the early1930s occupied land to various periods in the1950s, despite the presence of uneven land tenure, but the overall trend has not tended to concentrate. Before the Land Reform, the differentiation between the six villages in the township is also obvious, as the center Shangdian Cao Tun area, mostly residential landlords and rich peasants, sharecroppers live the rest of the village is a poor peasant. By analyzing the reasons for the changes of land rights, we can determine the change in land tenure is a force of many factors, but different factors in different periods of the role are not consistent. Traditional rural areas does not necessarily lead to the separation behavior of decentralized land tenure, it also leads to the possibility of concentration of land tenure. Separation on the one hand the size of land scattered, but also the strength out of the formation mechanism operating ability successor can be more convenient to expand his land. In addition, natural disasters, weddings, labor, farm animals and other factors also restrict the centralized and decentralized land ownership. All levels of access to land in different periods of the way also have their own characteristics, political factors within that period, especially for farmers all levels of government attitudes and land accounted for a greater impact, land reform is not directly change the equilibrium problem township land tenure. Meanwhile, land reform also left behind some problems. Mutual aid to some extent, improve the living standards of farmers, but failed to get rid of poverty in rural areas, a considerable part of the class is still in poverty. After cooperatives, falling instead of rising is the main trend of agricultural production, rural issues remains to be done.
