The new generation of migrant workers have become an integral part of modernindustrial workers, and also become an important force in China’s modernization. Themajority of them have been employed in service industry. The new generation ofmigrant workers who work as the front-line employee of service industry, have tocontact with the custom directly. As a result, their subjective wellbeing has an effecton their task performance and the service enterprises competitiveness. The newgeneration of migrant workers have special benefit r equirement, and how to meetthese special benefit requirement, and then improve their subjective wellbeing andtask performance have become a major problem for service e nterprises. In theprevious studies about the influence factor for new generation of migrant workers’subjective wellbeing, mostly concerned about a single type of benefit factor or theother factors’ effect, not mentioned the diverse benefit factors. The study about thenew generation of migrant workers’ subjective wellbeing and task performance in theservice enterprises is also rare.On the basis of literature review and theoretical analysis, the paper drawing onBagozzi’s attitude theory, and constructs a concept model. The antecedent variablesare the different benefits provided by the service enterprises, and the subjectivewellbeing of new generation of migrant workers’ as the emotional reaction, and theirtask performance as the coping behavior. Based on the social exchange theory, thepaper draw a path between the package of benefit and the task performace. Finally, this paper constructs a concept model of influences on the subjective well-being andtask performance of the new generation of migrant workers exerted by the package ofbenefit. Then we issue questionnaires to the new generation of migrant workers whowork in the service enterprises. The data, assumptions and models were analyzed andprocessed by descriptive statistical analysis, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatoryfactor analysis and regression analysis and the other econometric methods. The empirical results show that all of the three dimensions of the package ofbenefit have a significantly positive effect on subjective well-being and taskperformance of the new generation of migrant workers employed in the serviceindustry, and the functional benefit has the greatest impact on subjective well-beingand task performance. The subjective well-being of new generation of migrantworkers acts as a partial intermediary role between economic benefit, functional benefit, psychological benefit and task performance. However, the mediating effect isdifferent, the mediating effect of subjective wellbeing between the psychologicalbenefit and task performance is the least, while between the functional benefit andtask performance is the largest. These conclusions provide references for serviceenterprises to improve subjective well-being and task performance of new generationof migrant workers.
