As the economic reform, China’s construction market has been undergoing reform and development. The competition between construction enterprises becomes fiercer and fiercer. It is the utmost important issue to standardize the management of construction enterprises and improve the risk-control capability and competitiveness. This paper analyzes contract management and current risk-control situation of construction enterprises, and puts forward some suggestions on how to foster the competitiveness of construction enterprises.The paper consists of seven parts:the first part includes the research background, the main contents, research methods, and new ideas and limitations. the second part lists some typical cases in several phases and aspects luch as the bidding phase, contract performance stage, duration risk management and project funds payment. We can find risks everywhere in construction market. The third part refers to some basic concepts of risk-control, and the current situation and existing problems of risk-control in construction enterprises,。then highlights the necessity of risk-control and competitiveness of construction enterprises. From the forth to sixth part, this paper analyzes the classification of risk-control of construction enterprises, with focus on the operation in risk-control management. These3parts are the core of the paper concerning rights, obligations and issues, which should be aid attention to for construction enterprises in3different stages the contract signing stage, the construction stage and the acceptance and settlement stage. Setting forth the competitive basis and ways of cultivating competitiveness, the seventh part makes a conclusion on risk-control management and competitiveness in construction enterprises.
