Study On The Impact Of Rural Tourism On The Living Quality Of Local Residents

The purpose of this research is to provide relative scientific theories, methodsand basics for the improvement of the living quality of residents in rural touristdestination through determining the influence and impact on living quality ofresidents in Wuyuan area.This paper first raised the time background and significance of rural touristinfluence and resident living quality, and then summarized the current research onthe rural tourist influence and resident living quality so as to understand the dynamicresearches at home and abroad. Secondly, it analyzed the interaction between ruraltourism and living quality of the residents based on the objective and subjectiveindex evaluation system of living quality. Again, it analyzed the resident livingquality in urban and rural areas under influence of Wuyuan rural tourism by usingthe established index system and the dialectical relationship between rural touristinfluence and resident living quality. And finally, it raised methods to improve theliving quality of resident of urban and rural areas in Wuyuan. The conclusions of thispaper as followed:Firstly, it finalized The Objective and Subjective Index Evaluation System ofLiving Quality of the Chinese Residents which contain of10of30and10of27indicators index, and which can be used as the analysis of the resident living qualityin the tool evaluation.Secondly, this research attempt to study dialectical relationship between ruraltourism and the living quality, and establish the interaction diagram, which lay thefoundation for the analysis and evaluation of rural tourism on the resident livingquality impact.Thirdly,77.55points of objective resident living quality of Wuyuan isdetermined according to the objective evaluation of Topsis method, and64.35pointsof subjective according to the AHP and weighted method,and then71.75points ofthe comprehensive points according to the comprehensive analysis and evaluation of Wuyuan residents situation of living quality.And then,the paper calculates the influence on Wuyuan rural tourism to theobjective living quality is32.9%according to the contribution rate method, and10.9%to the subjective living quality according to the questionnaire of theresidents’ perception.Lastly,this article gets some political suggestions according to the influence ofrural tourism to the various aspects of the local resident living quality.thesesuggestions include the education and training, income distribution, publicinfrastructure, tourism traffic, ecological environment and other aspects; and we tryto achieve “hematopoietic” development by the concepts of “national tourism” and“industrial chain tourism”, and then comprehensively improve resident livingquality.
