With the further development of reform and opening-up and market ecomomy,private enterprises gragually become a vital force to promote the development of China’secomomic boom, and plays a more and more important role.The human resourcesdevelopment and management of private enterprises has been paid great attention inacademic circles and business. At present, the related research of social support and jobsatisfaction is become an important issue in the field of human resource management.This paper takes the relations research between the private enterprise employees’ jobsatisfaction and social support as the main theme, and chooses the excellent privateenterprises in Qinhuangdao city-Sinolion Industrial Group to have an empirical study.According to job satisfaction and social support theories, this paper put forward a series ofhypotheses for research purposes. We use the short scale of Minnesota satisfactionquestionnaire and social support rating scale to conduct a questionnaire survey andstatistical analysis on the employees. The paper studies the relationship between jobsatisfaction and social support through the descriptive statistics analysis, independentsample t-test, analysis of variance and regression analysis methods. The results of analysisvetifies the hypothesis proposed in the paper. The paper draws the following conclusion:The employees with high level of satisfaction have more significant difference in theoverall level of social support and support utilization aspects than those with the low levelof satisfaction; Employees with different levels of social support of private enterprises donot exist significant differences in job satisfaction; Employees of private enterprises havethe correlation between social support and job satisfaction; Social support (mainly theutilization of support) has the function of predicting job satisfaction, but ob satisfactionhas not the function of predicting social support.Research results not only can rich human resources and development theory, lays thefoundation for further research and, at the same time for the private enterprise humanresources management practical work but also can play a role in guidance and advice. Thispaper presents specific recommendations to improve the Sinolion Industrial Group’s employee satisfaction level based on research findings and theories related to humanresources management.
