With the constant innovation of production technology, as well as the rapiddevelopment of modern information technology and logistics technology, theseparability of the production design, production and sales are becoming more andmore strong, each part is no longer limited within the same enterprise, but also theworld-wild according to the comparative advantage distribution. In the background ofeconomic globalization, some international dominant manufacturing enterprise is nowmore and more focus on research and development, marketing and other high valueadded part, the production part of low value added has been transferred to thecountries with lower labor costs, or finding specialized manufacturer which owns costadvantage on a global scale. The leading enterprises ‘s global resource integration,will make each part’s suppliers within their control of the global value chain.The Chinese electrical appliances embedded in global value chain in OEM, theinternationalization of Chinese home appliance industry road is divided into fivestages: emergence stage, stage of formation of state-owned electrical home appliancesbrands, fierce competition stage, brand integration and restructuring stage, and policyrelying stage. Electrical appliances enterprises’ export target market is divided intothe high-end market, developing markets and emerging markets, the correspondingmode of global value chain governance is the leading type, module type andmarket-oriented type in turn. Function upgrade means to integrate the value chain soas to grasp the high value-added links as a way to upgrade. In order to realize thefunction of our home appliances enterprises upgrade, the enterprise must have strongtechnical capabilities or market ability, thus can concluded into two different upgradepath: one is based on the market ability from brands and channels of breakthrough,the other is based on technical ability from the design and development ofbreakthrough.
