In2013, The total number of travelers that Ganzhou received achieved26,000thousands with year-on-year growth of20.7%.The tourism revenue reached20.7billion yuan with year-on-year growth of25.71%. Among the date aforementioned,the number of inbound tourists reaching160thousand with the year-on-year growthof5.77%. The foreign exchange earnings was49,570thousand dollars which grew6.03%comparing with the same period of last year. The domestic tourists growing by20.8%year-on-year reached25,750thousand passengers, and the domestic tourismrevenue growing by26.07%year-on-year reached20.4billion yuan. The goodmomentum of the development of tourism in Ganzhou can be concluded form thesedate. But comparing with the better area of tourism industry, the development oftourism in Ganzhou city still has the larger space to promote. For instance, Ganzhoutravel agencies should elevate the level of human resources management, enhancingthe human capital structure and staff quality will further facilitate the development oftourism industry in Ganzhou. However, some travel agencies in Ganzhou city onlypursue short-term economic benefits and ignore the enhancement of employee’squality. They can not aware the significance and effect of human resourcemanagement and lack the professionals majoring in human resource management thespecific strategies, measures to carry out human resource management andexploitation.The domestic and abroad academic circles already has made systematic researchconcerning human resources management and exploitation in travel agencies,especially in the field of outflow of talent, talent crisis management, salarymanagement, performance management, talent demand forecasting, we can viewabundant research findings, and propose some new mechanism,new measures andnew methods. However, most existing research results concentrate on retaining andusing talents. The research on training and selecting talents is short. And someresearch is slightly insufficient on carrying on investigation. The analysis andargumentation in these achievements i s short of positive basis and inconvenient to utilize in the concrete management.Through investigation and research, the main problems existing in humanresources management of travel agencies in Ganzhou can be concluded in followingaspects.:Lack of consciousness in human resources management;Deficiency in management system;lack of planning, single evaluation and promotion method;lack of competitive salary;Lack of elite staff, democracy,participation in management, low competinglevel in marketing, lag in staff training even in the merit travel agencies.On the basis of practical exploring and theoretical research, the solution of theproblems should be innovative.The main strategy should include: strengtheningindustry regulation and policy guidance, providing the macro policy environment toimprove the level of human resource management, autonomously updating concept,establishing the modern human resources management system, exploring humanresources outsourcing mode, enhancing the level of human resources management;developing the deep cooperation between enterprise and college, elevating the levelof human resource development.
