With the diversification of market and the integration of global economy, thedemands of customers tend to be individualization. The output value of flow typeenterprise dominates in China’s total industrial output value, and in order to be morecompetiveness, the delay strategy must be implicated to satisfy customers’ personalizeddemands and optimize the operation cost.This paper takes the flow type enterprise as the object of study, analyze how to choiceand implement the delay strategy from the perspective of supply chain, under thecharacteristic of the flow type enterprise. First, sets up the delay strategy framework ofmulti-level under the influence factor analysis of the delay strategy, and establisheschoosing model of the delay strategy by analyzing the production and logisticscharacteristics of the delay strategy. And in the aspect of implementation, this paperstudies the location of customer order decoupling point, then builds a minima total costlocation mode with constraint of order delivery, which based on procurement delay,production delay and logistics delay of the flow type enterprise. According to theresearch results above, this paper accords with the logic order, and studies the delaystrategy choice and the customer order decoupling point location of spinningproductions of the L fiber glass production enterprise. Finally, this article summarizesthe research work carried out and pointed out the future direction for further research.
