With the development of science and technology and the needs ofglobalization of economy, commodity logistics has become an important partof the enterprise economic development. Modern logistics is entering aninformation, network and intelligent era, as a kind of advanced organizationmode and management technology, which has become "the third profitssource"of the enterprise. Especially as the development of GeographicInformation System in the application and theory of modern logisticsdistribution system for optimizing provides scientific means, modern logisticscreates great benefits in economy.Based on the introduction of the logistics distribution system study results,it analyses the relationship between GIS technology and logistics distributionsystem, and discusses the town level distribution industry node planning andrelated GIS analysis method. Taking Xianghe furniture as an example,combined with the actual characteristics of the industry and GIS software andanalysis model, The paper studies on the situation of logistics distribution andre-plan the logistics distribution center location and distribution networkconstruction.The geographic information system technology as the foundationfor its management research, in order to provide the reference for the practicalwork.In the study of logistics distribution center location planning, the studyuses hierarchical model analysis and GIS software to visualize geographicalfactors of research area, referring to the furniture exhibition hall patterndistribution, location advantages, traffic conditions and other related factors,n addition, the paper select the logistics distribution center address.Based on ofXianghe Furniture Wholesale City in recent years, I roughly screen theBeijing market distribution area.At the same time, with the help of powerfulspatial analysis technology of GIS and median model, identifying market nodedesign,I research and determine the second node locations inside Beijingmarket area.
