Assessment Of The Development Potential Of Natural Thermal Spring In Jiangxi Province

With the vigorous development of the domestic hot spring tourism, the hot springindustry demonstrated the broad development prospects and excellent investmentpotential. Jiangxi Province has a rich hot spring resource due to the special geologicalenvironment, both the booming supply and demand market and the abundantresources condition provide a good opportunity for its development of hot springtourism. But now， hot spring tourism of Jiangxi has many problems，such as lowerstart point， flat developmental level, extensive management，disorderly explore, ect.Lack of effective planning and management and scientific evaluation of the hot springresources. Hot spring tourism resources are prerequisite to carry out activities in hotspring tourism. The key to protect and explore hot spring tourism resources is to makea scientific and comprehensive evaluation. Beginning with theory introduction，thispaper is based on analyzing scientific connotations of hot spring tourism and hotspring tourism resources and discusses characters of hot spring tourism resources.Then it studies on how to establish a scientific, comprehensive and practical hotspring tourism assessment system for exploratory research.Firstly, the paper discuss the background，the significance of research methodsand ideas, and recalling the evaluation of domestic and international tourism arereviewed. Introduces the theoretical basis for the study, and defines the concept of hotspring, hot spring tourism, hot spring tourism resources and potential tourismresources in the development.Secondly, on the basis of the summary analysis of the existing research results,an assessment system of hot spring tourism resources with two subsystems，conditionof tourism resources，tourism development conditions，is established. The system has four—level frame，including object level，sub—object level, standard level and indexlevel, and11indices. Through investigating experts and researchers，AHP is used to determine theweight of each index..On comprehensive evaluation level,tourism resource has the most weight, followed by the tourism developmentconditions, which shows tourism resources is the prerequisite and basis for tourismdevelopment. On standard level, the weight of the index is followed by hot springquality, the mix of resources status, location conditions, regional economic conditions.On the index level, the quality of hot spring water, hot water temperature, daily flow,the level of regional economic development and transportation accessibility havehigher weight. The three elements of the hot spring water among the top three. Finallyestablish a comprehensive rating model for resource evaluation and development ofthe evaluation results corresponding to the rating scale.Thirdly, this paper conducts an empirical study of Jiangxi province，and makes adetail introduce of the formation and characteristics of the hot spring resources, thedistribution of resources, the status and problems in the utilization and development.Then, select41hot spring regions in the development potential of evolution, analysisand evaluation by comparing the results of some targeted measures and suggestions.In the end, the paper makes a conclusion of the study work, and makes a prospecton the study in future.
