Construction And Application Of Business Management Mode In TEWOO

Tewoo, a group company derived from Tianjin Materials and Goods Administration, has departed from its fundamental stage of development. The sales of the company had reached100billion RMB during2000-2011. Tewoo keeps a record of7-year continuous increase in sales and become the benchmark of the industry.But with the development of company, that is, the size of group became much bigger and the number of product categories also increased, the internal management of the company met some problems. To prevent the repeated operation and inadequate competition, Tewoo changed its management mode in2007from traditional structure to multidivisional structure management.In order to offer more reasonable suggestions, the author conducted a research The construction and application of multidivisional management mode in Tewoo. The purpose of this research is to exert the advantages of this management mode, and try to prevent the disadvantages of multidivisional management.This dissertation consists of five parts. Part one is the research background and research objectives. Part two introduces the typical cases of using multidivisional management mode. The author analyzed the reasons of the success or failure of the cases in order to provide a basic condition of application of this mode. In part three, the author made a discussion on the possibility application of this mode into Tewoo. What kind of problems it may have and what are the possible reasons it could be. The fouth part of the dissertation states the core issues of multidivisional management application in Tewoo. The author proposed a modified mode of multidivisional structure management mode by considering the actual situation of Tewoo. In the last part, the author concluded the advantages and shortcomings of this application and offered some reasonable suggestions.This research has experienced the fundamental test of the working practice. It is backed by the theories and author’s working experience. The author tries to have a more clear structure and better application efficiency. The author believes that by continuous thinking and exploring, Tewoo can get much better development.
