Message oriented middleware is loosely coupled、highly reliable and pervasive. It is now the basis of such diverse applications as military communication, network management and supply-chain management, among many others. The key technology is the hotspot in information research area.This paper is based upon a light-weight message oriented middleware called as LMS for short which is developed for self-owned intellectual property rights. After researching into message dispatching model、design pattern of concurrent distributed system and key technology of network programming, a efficient message oriented middleware architecture is provided. In this paper, the design framework of LMS is introduced first. Then, this paper addresses on a series of problem such as:how to implement efficient concurrent model、event dispatching mechanism、message persistent module and connection management policy, how to cross different platform, how to allocate and manage memory efficiently, how to reap and re-use resource reasonably, how to choose patterns of distributed system, how to schedule fairly.LMS has small footprint and excellent performance. Now, the patent is applying.
