With the development of science and technology, the application range of wireless multimedia sensor networks(WMSNs) is more and more widely, and routing protocol is the foundation of data transmission. In the field of traditional wireless sensor network(WSN), although there many scholars have proposed many multi-path routing protocols, but WMSNs’ data is composed of multimedia information, besides, WMSNs has the characteristics of multi-types services, WSNs’ multipath routing is not suitable for WMSNs’ data transmission because of Quality of Service(Qo S) guarantee. In this paper, the multi path routing protocol is studied deeply, in order to guarantee the quality of service, this paper makes a cross layer optimization, the main research contents and innovative work of this paper are as follows:Firstly, this thesis introduces the characteristics of WMSNs, system structure, and the key technology, has a summary of multi-path routing protocols, make a study of the classical multipath routing protocol that already been built in WMSNs.Secondly, based on the awareness of event and residual energy in WMSNs, propose a node disjoint multipath routing protocol(EEDMA), on the premise of provide different transmission paths for different event data stream with priority, try to prolong the life cycle of the network. The priority of to provide different transmission path under the premise of try to prolong the life cycle of the network. More than reduces the coupling of the routing node, node disjoint routing paths solve existing in single path routing "issues" through feedback on each path node information. Finally, based on distributed hash table as routing structure, awareness of the surrounding neighbor node information, link quality and routing the hop, EM- DART algorithm is proposed, respectively, provides important guarantee for the reliability of the network node energy, the rate of package successfully sent and end to end delay. According to dynamic weighted value allocation scheme as the environment changes, effectively guarantee the Qo S of data transmission and the energy balance of the network.
