Design And Implementation Of Material Management System Based On MVC

With the development of information technology, the traditional material management which depends on labour shows the following questions:the material information is updated slowly; the communication between managers is not convenient; the relevant information is completed irregularly and inaccurately; modifying information is easy to produce error. To solve these problems, it is needs to build a material management system based on information technology which makes the traditional material management informatization, platform and standardization. The material management system makes the enterprises enables to control the management of materials through the computer browser. Thanks to the inventory information and usage information can be updated timely and accurately, the purchasing work of related materials can be estimated by the decision makers through the data and at the same time, the materials can be carried out by each other. In order to achieve the purpose that the management of material reserves can be standardized management finally. Meanwhile, the unnecessary materials storage will be reduced and the funds for the material occupation will be effectively controlled.In this dissertation, the material management system based on MVC pattern has been designed according to the actual demand of the material management in Jinan Mobile Corporation network maintenance center. The system was built under the environment of “Windows + Apache + PHP + My SQL”. Through the Zend framework in PHP to achieve the MVC model development. In the development process, aiming at the Zend framework view layer has the defect of the separation between logic code and image code, the new framework consists of Smarty and Zend Framework by introducing the Smarty template engine technology, which is used to solve the problem of incomplete separation. Based on the requirement analysis of business processes of company’s material management and the relevant work assignments, the system was divided into five functional modules: dynamic information, query statistics, inventory management, information management and system settings. The process of each function module flow was analyzed and designed. Then give the detailed descriptions for the realization of the function of each process which includes the realization of the various functional modules, the key technologies, the core code and system interface. Finally, after the completion of the system development, the function structure and security of the system were tested through the methods based on black-box testing, and the stability and accuracy of the system were optimized through the result of testing. The practice shows that the material management system based on MVC framework has reached the expected requirements of company’s information and platform material management and the goal of scientific management of materials has been achieved.
